Random sketches

After doing the dark knight pics, I carried on with a few more sketches. A zombie from the walking dead, box head profile pic and Evan the clown from dead rising 2 off the record.

The dark knight returns sketches

After seeing the leaked footage of the up and coming batman vs superman film.

I did a few sketches of bats and superman in the style of frank miller, I love his artwork.

Little epoxy devil

I had a small amount of the epoxy clay left.  So thought id play about with it.

I used a kinder egg shell to model around and to make the clay go a bit further.

Basic but helped me get to grips with it a bit more, putting all the pieces on and putting it together.

Gonna give him a cheeky paint after.

Shark man 2

Here is the 3rd version of shark man.
This time I tried an epoxy clay/putty.

Already its better than the air dry clay model. More so because there are no cracks in the model.

As you can see here is my hi-tech spray booth when coating him with a base paint . I just need ro paint him proper now.

Shark man model

Shark man model. I started with the swearing police man model from apologies to banksy. I tried to use some air drying clay to model the shark outfit.
It was great to work with but still ended up cracking as it dried.

So here is the second model of the shark man.

Organic Shapes

Still playing around in Adobe Illustrator and found this great tutorial.
It makes use of opacity masks and the gradient tool. It does create a really great image.

I really like it.

Here are a few of the tests.

Well finially finished painting my first vinyl figure. Its a replica of the monkey that Banksy has used.

It looked great without anything on to be honest. But wanted to have a go and paint it. So it's my zombie chimp.

Drawings

Here are a few recent drawings done on the ipad using 'procreate'. A great program to use for anyone who does a bit of digital painting.

My digital painting skills need a lot of improving, but i am happy with these. (top to bottom, 'Fly Boy', Walter and Two Face)

Word Clouds

I have been asked to try my hand at creating some word clouds for work. I have had two goes and quite pleased with them. The cloud is definitely better than the foot. But both still need a bit if tweeking.
Each one has taken a few hours to create.
All done in illustrator c3 so if they get blown up they wont pixelate. Simple but effective. I know you can use apps to create word clouds but I think they are better if someone has sat down and created them and thought about the placing of the words and structure.

Spiral Building_ concept

In the very early stages of designing a spiral building. It could be an office block or class rooms on a campus.
Here I have just done the basic structure and layout. At the moment there are no textures or anything. bu they will be coming shortly :).

Again these have been created in blender 2.69.
